Can I start without signing up or downloading an app?
Yes. No signup is needed to start, and Thundrchat works in a browser without an app download. This does not mean every later action, such as payment or account management, is account-free.
Are the women on Thundrchat verified?
The women you match with must complete real-person verification before video calls. New male users can choose whether to complete verification, so not every account is verified. Real-person verification is not a guarantee about everything a person says or does.
Can I keep my profile anonymous?
You can choose not to display profile information. This is profile privacy, not a promise of no data collection or complete anonymity. Avoid sharing sensitive personal information and review the privacy policy for how platform data is handled. Read the privacy policy.
Does video chat work on Android and iPhone?
Yes. You can use Thundrchat on desktop, an Android browser, or iPhone Safari. Allow camera and microphone access when prompted for a video call. A stable internet connection helps.
Can I use text chat without a video call?
Yes. Text messaging is available independently of video calls. Open Messages to view your conversations. Messaging has a limited allowance, and you need to recharge when that allowance is used. Open your text conversations.
What if a conversation makes me uncomfortable?
Leave the conversation, block the contact or report inappropriate behavior. Thundrchat has human moderation and AI detection of inappropriate messages. These tools support moderation; they do not guarantee that every problem will be prevented. Read our community guidelines.
